I always get finder shown up at start up can't find a way to stop this. I have a NAS(network drive) and that the only folder finder opens when i sign in! How do i stop this? I've got nothing selected on login items. I am on Mavericks 10.9.5

What everyone could do is simple and works across many versions of OS X.

1. In your Home folder Documents folder and create a New Folder and something like "Connected Shares" the drag that folder to the right side of your Dock.

2. Mount your desired shares at on at a time. Then drag the shate (or make an alias of the connected share) and drag it to the new Fo,der in the Dock. Then repeate for all your networked shares.

3. Now disconnect a that share then after a second or two click on the Connected Shares Dock folder and select a desired share to connect.

Really easy to use and could be powerful if used right and have Keychain Access remember a desired share lava work credentials for seemless networking.
