Hey guys. Well I just have a strange problem after installing theme software which I never should have done in the first place. I installed the most recent version of crystal clear and it looked terrible so I uninstalled it and now my finder bar is no longer transparent. Anybody know how to fix that? I know I shouldn't be worried about such things but it is really getting on my nerves. Just one of those small things I notice :eek:

It should be in Settings somewhere, on my work PC so I can't check right now. It's basically Show bars "Always," "Never," and per app basis if I remember correctly.

System Preferences...->Desktop & Screen Saver->Desktop tab->Translucent Menu Bar (a checkbox).

problem with this

System Preferences...->Desktop & Screen Saver->Desktop tab->Translucent Menu Bar (a checkbox).

I have an issue with this; whenever I uncheck the box, to goes right back to translucent when I close system preferences. Does anyone know the preference file for that?
