Hey,

In Mac OSX Finder in the Shared Section, I'd like to change one of the computer Icons.

Example:

As you can see, I'd like to change the PC's BSOD Icon to something like this:
Picture%203.png

Is that possible?

Thanks!

Re:

It is possible but all other PCs will have the same icon.

First, all the icons used for the sidebar are located here: Macintosh HD>System>Library>CoreServices. There you have to right-click on CoreTypes.bundle and press «Show Package Content».

The bluescreen icon is the one named public.generic-pc.icns. For OS X to use the icon you want to use, you must convert your image file into a .icns file.

I suggest you backup the old one, just in case:)

Good luck and I hope I am not too late!

No?

Does anyone know how to do this per device. As in have two like devices have different icons? I want my NAS to look like the actual model and I want my iPhone (jailbroken) to show up as an actual iPhone
