Finder Closes When Dismounting Drive or .dmg

I have Mac OS X 10.6 and when I select to close a disk image or disk drive Finder automatically closes. Anyone know of a way to prevent this from happening?

The window closes if the drive/.dmg you are dismounting is highlighted. I used to have touble with this all the time. You can avoid it by highlighting another volume or directory and then just clicking the dismount arrow on whatever you are trying to dismount. I don't have the problem anymore.
