Finder Copy over SMB slow? Terminal OK...

Hi all,

I have a really strange issue - when using Finder transfer files TO/FROM my NAS, I'm getting a maximum of <5MB/s.

If I use CP from Terminal to copy, I get full speeds?!

Anyone know why Finder is so slow copying data to/from my NAS? I also tried it with my Synology NAS and it is exhibiting the same issue.

I'm using SMB, but same thing happens with AFP.

I know the latest macOS update was addressing an issue similar to this.. are you running the latest version?
