Hello all,

i've got a problem with my mac:

When I go to the Apple menu and choose "About This Mac", the Finder soft crashes and resets.

what can i do about this?

Hmmm... try spotlighting the file com.apple.finder.plist, trashing it, and then restarting finder from the Force Quit window.

thanks for youre reply.

i have tried this, but it didn't work!

when the reboot of finder is done, the file is back in library/preferences/

when i rebootted finder I mentioned that only the icons on my desktop refreshed, but in my problem the whole logon, including the autostart programs, start again. and all the apps i had opened are crashed/gone.

Sorry for my bad english.... ;)
