Finder - Diable folder opening on file drag

When I drag a file into the finder window, any folder I hover over open up almost immediately.

I dont want folders to open. I just want to drag files and drop into a folder to move or copy the file.

Is there a way to disable the default action of folders opening when the mouse hovers over them?

Finder, Preferences, General Tab, uncheck "Spring-loaded folders and windows".
