How can I revert it back to traditional narrower-row format? Thanks very much!

No: "View as columns" produces result as in accompanying photo (attached). I need display like in the previous photo but with the original non-wide rows.

Doesn't work: rows aren't narrow. This photo attach) shows Finder>-Desktop. Finder->Documents (folder with the original post) is the one that has the wide-row problem I'm trying to solve. Thanks.

Ah. I think, I found it.

Finder->View (menu)->Show View Options ( ⌘ J )->Icon Size (select the small(er)).
