This might be an odd, outlandish request, but I'm curious if anyone has a solution for this.
My partner has frequent issues where her boss will delete an important file, and despite them having multiple backup solutions (they use SuperDuper, I believe Time Machine, and use SugarSync for some shared folders) have had multiples occurrences of a file being totally gone.
Is there any kind of script or Automator workflow that would duplicate a file (maybe of a specific type) upon opening? Ie double click Pages doc and a copy is created?
