Hey everyone!
We use Google Backup and Sync at my company and it's been great. We upgraded to Mojave not too long ago, however, and notice that the contextual options for Google Backup when we right-click on a file are gone. (They were there in the previous version of Mac OS).
While troubleshooting, we first went to the Preferences > Settings of Google Backup to make sure "Show file sync status and right click menu" is check marked - which it is.
Next, we opened up Preferences (in Mac OS) and searched for "Extensions", then clicked on "Finder Extensions". Lo and behold, the option for Google Backup & Sync was NOT checkmarked. After checking it and restarting Finder, we now get options when right clicking files and folders! Good, right? Wellll.....
After restarting our computer, the right-click options are gone. When we go back to "Finder Extensions", the box for Google Backup is now unchecked! So essentially, the settings are not being kept after we restart.
Does anyone know why this would be? I'm sure it has something to do with Mojave security settings somewhere but I'm not sure where to look next. Any insight would be helpful.
Thanks!
