I have just got Leopard 5.5 which is very nice on my 8/07 mac pro.

Though when I go to the finder and click on some folders, the contents of the folders takes a good couple of seconds to appear, i don't remember it doing this tiger when it was instantaneous.

As anybody else had this

I'm not 100% sure but I think after upgrading the system, the computer re-indexes Spotlight so it can find things on the drive in a quicker fashion. Does the magnifying glass icon have a pulsing dot in it? If it does, that just means its indexing, shouldn't take more than a few hours or so depending on how much data you have on the drive.

As i just downloaded it indexed right away. Though I noticed that it is only the first time you click on the folder you get the delay after which, everythigns as normal
