Finder Font Color Issues

I spent the day tinkering with my system, and decided to use a black background for my finder. I went to the view options and changed it easily, but then ran into a problem: my font is black as well, and I can't read the folder names. Is there any way to customize this to a white or grey color instead?

Maybe assign coloured labels to all the files inside these folders. You can do this from the File menu.
