Finder freezing at start-up

Since my cable has been down since a bad storm it seems whenever I restart my computer and Airport is turned on that the finder freezes at start-up, the hard drive icon shows up but my local iDisk will not appear. If i click the hard drive icon the finder window shows up without anything in it and beachballs. If i restart with airport off then everything works fine. It's a little annoying and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. TIA.

Repair Permissions and see if that helps. Maybe reinstall the software to the AirPort Base Station (using the latest software) and see if the software didn't get messed up.

I had that problem with Panther. It was driving me crazy. It did that every time the wireless internet was not working. It drove me crazy. It hasn't done it lately but I don't know if anything fixed it or not...
