Finder freezing

Anyone have this problem? I read some posts containing this here but problems seem to be different.

So when i open finder and have the icon view enabled (e.g. NOT list view) and i scroll through a folder with lots of Icons like the Application folder, all of a sudden they stop scrolling, freezes for like 5 secs and then it continues.

CPU load does not increase during that time (got iStat Menu). Already repaired permission and restarted (which i rarely do).

Latest Mavericks with Early 2013 13" Retina Macbook and Core i7.

Never had this problem with ML but it's really starting to get on my nerves

Just as a follow up - I ran through all the Onyx cleanup tabs and restarted and same issue.

If anyone has any suggestion - i'm all ears.

For anyone else owning a Synology and running the Cloudstation app - this is the one causing the trouble.

As found in another thread, disabling or uninstalling finally resolves the issues.
