Finder Frozen

Yet another problem for me in about 3 hours
The Dock, App Switching(hitting command+Tab) ,Expose, and Spaces all are not working, the dock doesn't do anything when i scroll over it (Usually it magnifies and the app name comes above it) app switching does nothing, expose does nothing spaces does nothing when the corresponding command is pressed.The only way i can open apps is by going through a new finder window
everthing is in one window.
Please help horrible flashbacks of being a PC user starting

What have you done so far to correct the problem and which OS are you using?

i am using leopard and i haven't done anything to try to correct it, i might make it worse

Try reparing permissions.
