Does the Finder's built-in FTP client still not support writing to an FTP server? That's ridiculous!

Yes, That's No. Or No, that's correct.
The other day I needed to connect to an FTP server. I was just about to go look for an FTP client, when I remembered that I can use the Finder. So I connect to the server, and then I get all of these error messages about not being able to write to the server. After checking all sorts of settings, I look on Google and find out that, it can't write to the server. OMGWTF? Anyway, I still had to download an FTP client. I was very let down.

The GUI client won't write. I just checked. You could always use the command-line if you don't want to download anything.
