I've been having some trouble deleting a few folders from my Trash.

I've tried all the options for force delete, using the Terminal etc and nothing worked.

To inspect the folders further I dragged them back out of the trash onto my desktop. When I try to view the folder contents either using the Finder or Transmit, the Finder crashes and Transmit continually tries to list the folder contents.

So it seems there is something odd or corrupted about the folder contents, but how do I get into the folders to fix this. Trying them using the Finder just causes it to crash?

This is not something I have run into, but I would suggest you first use disk utility to repair permissions. Then if that doesn't do it, explore via the terminal - I've never had "ls" crash.

Thanks ScoobyMcDoo, using the disk utility didn't change anything but using the Terminal to delete the folder contents did, thanks!
