Hello...

My first post here :)

Today when I boot up my MBP, the Finder icon on the dock changes to a very strange look. The icon becomes semi-transparent with degraded quality (please see attached screenshot).

I didn't do anything special last time I ran the machine. And I've tried to fix it by running all the normal disk permission repair routines and system maintenance scripts, but to no avail.

It is very clear that such icon is an indication that something has gone wrong, but unfortunately the system doesn't tell you what it is (maybe only a handful of OS X developers know what this icon means).

Does anyone have a clue?

Many thanks :)

Re-uploaded the screenshot...

Hope someone could come explain the root cause of it.

Thanks~ :)
