Hello All,

I just bought my macbook today, and its awsome I love it. Anyway, this is my second mac, and have never seen this problem, the Finder Icon is outside the dock on the bottom of my desktop. Its not a regular icon though, it has the blue dot underneath it like it belongs on the dock?
Any help with this would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks
Mike.

We are.

So to make your life easier, I will repeat the questions:

Can you click on that and it behaves as if it is part of the dock?

Does the problem stay around after you restart the system?

Sorry for the delay of your question.
No it did not act like it was on the dock, could not click it, select it drag it, anything. But I did the terminal code as well as the restart and after both it didnt reappear, I really appreciate all of your help everyone

Thanks
Mike.

Mr. iShater you cheeky mare! How did you make my post disappear?

Anywho... +1 for those questions OP, I want to hear answers. I'm VERY Intrigued...

Probably a mod cause it was a one-word post. I get dinged with those every now and then :p

I have to drive for 2.5 hours, so I won't be able to check on this until later tonight.

Take care of the OP fellas! :D

Hmmm, change your desktop background and see what happens.

Just reinstall the OS since it's new, it's probably a system corruption.
