I'm on a 2016 15" MacBook Pro with the 460.

Finder is really laggy and slow to respond. Files take over a second to move/delete, and when I open something the 'opening' animation triggers after the thing is already open.

Anyone else seeing this?

Are there any background processes using significant CPU time? Check with Activity Monitor. Are you running any apps that aren't compatible with Mojave? Is Spotlight indexing? Try a reboot and see if it settles down over time. I haven't noticed this problem.

nah it happens when there's only finder running - and not indexing
