Finder is trying to escape from my dock!

I seem to remember it happening once with Panther on my powerbook. I believe that killing and then restarting the dock process solved the problem.

yes, i have 10.4, but nope, nothing to change it.

Weird, never seen that.

If restarting the Dock is the only method, here's how to do it if you're not sure. Open Activity Monitor, located in Applications > Utilities. All the running processes on your computer are listed here. Find "Dock"m and quit the process. This will restart it, and see what happens!

i remember seeing that once. it's like the finder fully quit, causing the dock to shrink…and then it relaunches and the dock forgets to include it!

kinda like the spotlight fail attached
