Finder is weird

Guys,

Somehow finder is doing strange things...

I did a movie on Imovie and placed this on my desktop, then I moved it to other place in my mac.

now that file is appearing on my vertical menu of my finder, as a direct link to that file. I have erased it several times, but each time I close finder and open a window again, there it is.....

This is very annoying!

You should be able to drag it out of the Finder's sidebar if this is the spot you're talking about. Maybe post a quick screenshot for us, mate.
