Finder & Launch Pad?

Isn't that basically two ways of using the operating system? Couldn't that be a bit confusing, basically having two different file systems/two different ways of finding things - I'm a bit confused about it right now, but I'm sure it'll be fine...

think its just like the osx dock a place to display things and make them accessible not sort them.

Yea, I see it more like the Dock than Finder. I almost never use Finder for launching apps. Launch Pad also won't be for general file browsing. I see them as quite different.
