Finder not locating a folder which I can see

I was looking through my folders and found Yahoo! Messenger folder.

I thought I uninstalled this, so may be a folder got left behind?

myname > library > caches > yahoo messenger

The thing is I opened another finder window and typed Yahoo! Messenger as well as yahoo etc

Finder did not find the yahoo messenger folder at all. Is there a reason for this, as Finder usually finds stuff like this.

If your using Leopard, Apple really f'd up Spotlight searching (either with Finder or Spotlight itself).

It doesn't search certain folders anymore. Like you can't search for Apple wallpapers like you could in Tiger.

Spotlight by default only searches certain areas of your home directory. To include system files as well see here.
