Finder Problem

When ever I go to search something from my applications folder in the upper right hand "Search" bar, All it does is spin and says search, but no results come up for the file I'm looking for, same for spotlight. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to do the reindexing, but nothing happened, and I followed the instructions. I clicked the add button and clicked applications, but it doesn't add to the list. Weird

Does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?

Nevermind, just did some kind of dark magic and fixed it, no idea how but I guess that works
