Finder question

In my new mbp, every time I boot my mac and start using finder, I see that the font size I set in 'show view options', is lost.
I always set it to '13', after any reboot/startup etc, it returns to '12'!
Is it a bug? Ridiculous!
How can I make finder to keep the value and 'remember' this setting?

View Options is a folder by folder setting you need to chenge the default for the whole drive.
