Is it odd to open a Finder Window, navigate to the folder of choice, then do a search for a file in the built in search box on the finder window, and it not find a file that is there?

For instance, I go to my Movies Folder which has multiple .mp4 movies directly in it, and then multiple levels of folders with movies in there.

If i search for a movie that is directly in the Movies folder, the search will locate it, but if i search for one that is in one of the sub-folders, no joy.

Any help?
