This started recently, definitely after upgrading to Mavericks and by the way I had done a clean install and restored my files and apps from Time Machine. The problem is that every search I make, the results I get are not clickable, it's just a list of the files' names without being able to do anything about them. It also claims that 0 files were found in the status bar.

Even though searching though Spotlight works, I reindexed the database to no avail. I also trashed Finder's preference files, fixed the permissions under the recovery mode and yet the problem persists. It doesn't however show in the test account I have on the computer, just in my main user account.

I'm attaching this example here:

Any thoughts?

Same here

Usual finder search gives strange result, not clickable list, seems even broken > see ordering options in attachment

Search via spotlight and "show in finder" works.
