I just found that by right-clicking onto the finder symbol in the task bar, it shows a list of the lastly used folders. I don't know, if this is a new feature since catalina, but I also never heard of it and now I want to turn this off. I can't find any help, what I tried was excluding folders from spotlight, but they get listed there anyway and I simply don't want that - does anybody know, how to disable this feature?
