Finder shows the same folder twice, under "Places"

I have two MacBook, and when they synchronize their setting with MobileMe, I see the same folder two times in "Places": Desktop, Applications, Documents.

Is there a way to stop this? I checked the settings for MobileMe, but I don't see any setting that allows me to say to Mac OS X not to touch that setting.
