I had some shortcuts on the sidebar in Finder and they're not showing up in apps when I, for instance, try to attach a file to an email (Mailmate) or go grab a file from within an app (Reaper, Safari).

They show up fine in regular Finder (opening finder for instance) but within apps the custom shortcuts aren't there.

2 screenshots. what I'm talking about (from Reaper)... and how it SHOULD look like (taken from Finder view)...

Can anyone tell me what's going on? Is there a setting to turn off this customization or something that I accidentally triggered?
Thank you
