I meant to drop it in Documents, but misplaced it directly onto the sidebar. I am now unable to move the Sidebar item into Documents, or to drag it to Trash. Thanks for any help!

D DockMac macrumors regular Dec 22, 2008 184 1 Sep 10, 2011 #2 Two finger click the sidebar item, and select remove from sidebar. If you have a two button mouse, right click the sidebar item, and select remove from sidebar. Or, Ctrl-click the sidebar item, and select remove from sidebar.
