Hi

Does anyone know how finder decides the order of images in a slideshow? I would expect it to be ordered by filename, but this isn't the case.

For example, I have a folder with 6 images:

IMG_4119.JPG
IMG_4120.JPG
IMG_4121.JPG
IMG_4122.JPG
IMG_4123.JPG
IMG_4124.JPG

This is the order in which they appear in the finder window, but when I select all, right click and choose Slideshow, they appear in a different order:

IMG_4124.JPG
IMG_4122.JPG
IMG_4121.JPG
IMG_4120.JPG
IMG_4123.JPG
IMG_4119.JPG

They always appear in this order so it's not random, but it's not the order in which I'd like to view them. The creation and modify dates on the files all follow the same order as the file names too e.g. 4119 has the earliest create/modify date time, 4124 the latest.

Any ideas anyone?

Cheers
