Hi all,

out of a sudden I cannot anymore mount a share on my NAS... Connecting to Server->afp://my.nas.ip works and it shows the available shares, but when I then click on one to mount, the "Connecting to Server" progress dialog pops up and hangs with high CPU load. Forever. Cannot even abort. Killing Finder the hard way... I cannot even start Finder again until I reboot.

I created a second account on my machine and there it works without any issues. So something in my account got messed up.

I tried the usual recommendations of deleting ./GlobalPreferences.plist... doesn't work.

Any other hints? I would hate to reset my whole account :/

Thanks,
fuz

I do not know why.... but out of a sudden it works again...

Did NOTHING at all to the configuration. Just before heading out of the office, tried one final time. As I had to upload a number of files, I did that via the browser and after just out of curiosity tried to mount the smb and afp share. And well... it worked.

Weird one...
