I've finally tried using TAB in the finder under Mav. Nothing I would call miraculous but can be useful.

However I immediately found a drawback - or there is a setting I cannot find.

I tried to set a different tab to show files from different iMacs I have and looking at the same folder "desktop".Guess what, each of the 3 different tabs pointing to distinctly different iMacs had the same name "Desktop".

This totally defeats the use of tabs, how am I supposed to remember which tab is which iMac ?

I looked around to see if there was a setting that would set a more useful name, found nothing.

Is there such an option ? I cannot find it !

hit option, command p on your keyboard. it will show the path of the files. It helps.
