After renaming and deleting some Finder tags, the catchall "All Tags..." item disappeared from the Sidebar in Finder. How do I get it back?

Incorrect.

I didn't mean "all tags" generically; I meant the very specific item "All Tags..." that appears at the bottom of the tag list in the Sidebar. The Finder Preferences offer nothing to return this mysterious "All Tags..." Sidebar item once it's gone.

Waiting for an answer as well. If I find it, I'll post it. Please do the same.:)

If you want "All tags" back, just add some more tags on your system and it'll return. On my Mac it appeared again once I had more than 10 tags defined.

That's it!

Wow, Beavix, you're right! After a little experimenting, I learned that Finder adds the "All Tags..." item to the Sidebar if the number of tags significantly exceeds the first screen length of the Finder window and the scroll bars appear. (Deleting the number of tags it takes to return the Finder window to a single screen without scroll bars -- plus a few more tag deletions -- seems to get rid of the "All Tags..." item again.)

Mystery solved, thanks to Beavix's insight.
