i recently downloaded a movie onto my mac, whenever i click "Get Info" on the movie, Finder will rise within a split-second to about 80% and then rise to 95%.
When I click on it to play the movie Quicktime reaches to 95%.

I tested this all with other movies i downloaded and when i clicked on "Get Info" w/ the other movies it wouldn't have any effect on Finder. When I played the other films, QT wouldn't rise any higher than 32%.

Why is it that it is only ONE folder that is making my computer go nuts.

i tried clicking on my desktop >Show viewing options and un-checked "show item info and icon preview. it had zero effect...

any ideas why this is going on?
