Since updating to Mavericks, thumbnails are not being generated for files in list view. Oddly, they show up for the first batch of files that are visible in the finder window, but as I scroll down, the remaining files all have a generic icon (mp3, jpg, whatever).

Anyone else have this? Fixable?

I've got exactly the same problem, and then they appear when you right click and press view options and change icon size to larger then back to smaller or they appear when the file is accessed. I'm currently on the phone with Apple and i'll get back to you with their findings...

Would definitely be interested in hearing what they tell you. This has become one of those little things that eats up time.

i have the same bug. if you preview the file sometimes it generates a thumbnail. if you change from list to coverflow it sometimes helps. mavericks really is buggy
