"An image says more than a thousand words" ..

With words it is not easy to explain my issue, especially not easy for a foreigner .. Therefor the screen dump
The first column in the Finder top bar is way too large. I always have to drag to be able to see the other files' info .. size, date ect.
How can I change this .. ?

Thanks

However your mouse next to the tiny line between the two columns "Name" and "Date".

You'll see that the icon of the pointer/mouse will change to <-|->. Hold down your trackpad, drag to the left, as you wish, to resize the column.

Hope this helps.

thank you and yes I know

about the changing of the size in between the finder columns.
But all the time when I open a new finder window I have to do this .. That to me I consider not normal let alone handy ..

So I want to change it .. for good:)
