Finder using over 1GB of memory

My mbp was running a little slow, so i decided to take a look at activity monitor to see whats going on when i saw this.



Finder is using over 1GB of ram. Anyone have similar issues?
I'm thinking there might be a memory leak somewhere in 10.6.7 because this happened after upgrading.

In Terminal:

killall Finder

Or simply reboot.

Sweet. That fixed it. now its using less than 20mb. Thank You!

anything new recently installed? i never have seen Finder go THAT high...

hope you figure this out and it doesn't become a rebuild for you...
