Finder verifies a folder every time I open it

Good morning everyone.

M2 Mac mini with Sonoma 14.3

Every time I open a folder the Finder says it is verificating it and it takes 5/10 seconds to open it.

The folder is into an external USB disk.

Any idea of how to fix that?
