Hi -
Well, this iMac has me exasperated...
Equipment:
iMac, Core2Duo, 2.8GHz, Early '08, Model 8,1, 6G RAM, 1 TB, HD, Mac OS 10.7.5, 24".
Problem(s):
> Any mouse clik (ANYWHERE - Desktop, Dock, Menu bar) in the Finder starts Dashboard, that is - when you can get it to boot to the Finder.
> Attempts to boot to the Restore Partition = no response to mouse clik on the icon of that partition.
"Attempted Repairs" = (No fix):
> Ran Disk Warrior (v.4.3)
> Removed/replaced existing 4 G RAM with NEW (Matching) 6G RAM.
What the h#ll is going on with this thing..... ?
Any suggestion (short of the application of a .44 Magnum) would be welcomed.
Patrick
