Hello all. I am in need of assistance. I rebooted my computer today and my Finder will not launch. The dock launches and that's it. I see the clock in the menu bar flashing, but no menu bar. I tried to launch the Finder manually, but it doesn't launch. I tried to launch other apps from the dock, some launched, some didn't. All this happened after I installed quicktime 6.1.

I have booted off the cd and repaird disk, repaired permissions... several times. I have ran fsck -y in single user mode. None of them fixed it. I do not have Norton Utilities or Diskwarrior or Drive10. Is there anything else I can do to get the Finder to launch? Thanks
