Hi all.

This morning I installed a bunch of apps under 10.4.10 and all of a sudden finder window resizes take one or more seconds. I resize and the window hangs and finally the content display catches up. Curiously, resizing application windows have no such delay! I do have a Secure WebDisk open to my web host but that hasn't caused problems before.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? I reset the system a couple of times but no luck. I also didn't see anything suspicious using the Activity Monitor.

Nothing abnormal was going on before I did these installs. I upgrade to iLife '08 and installed Quicksilver, XTorrent, Acquisition, xPad, Scrivener, Seashore, Miro, Handbrake, Transmit, AppFresh, etc. However, I am NOT running these apps so this is all a mystery to me.

Thanks. Any ideas would be appreciated!

ADDENDUM:

It isn't only window resizes that are slow, ANY type of interaction with a finder window is slow and jerky - like when I move a scroll bar - it first hangs and then moves.

Frustrating.
