Note: I have Paragon NTFS driver installed, so I have full write(and read) capabilities to my NTFS partition on my SSD.
Whenever I search for files in any folder on my NTFS partition (in the top-right search box in Finder), it always turns up 0 results, even if I search the exact file name that I can see is right there in the folder.
How can I make it search correctly?
About indexing: indexing just helps it search faster (it's literally just an index of files/folders), but it should still be able to manually search the folder in the same way Ctrl+F manually searches a document/page for words. Windows and Linux can both search drives without having index them first (in fact Windows lets you turn off indexing, because indexing isn't really needed for SSDs nor are all the additional write actions good for them), so why is OS X not doing it?
