 Sorry, I don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about

Are you asking where the photos on the camera roll are stored ? If so, your question is not even close to asking that.

sorry for my poor english!

Follow the path you were given

Edit: Guess you were given an incorrect path. Glad you found it !

I assume you mean the camera roll? If so, the folder is /var/mobile/DCIM/100APPLE

Wrong. :)

/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/XXXAPPLE/

The XXX could be any 3 digits. Usually 100 or 101

Also, you can download iFile for free from Cydia as well. It's shareware. I use the free version because I don't need playlists and the stuff the full version offers. The free version does most regular file manipulation quite well.

I hope you're right about this. I had passed over iFile, because I thought it was a trial that would end.

accessing root directory

Hi guys and gals.

I am new to this forum and no that tech savy.

I have recently updated my iphone 3GS firmware from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3. Jailbroke with spirit. Prior to the upgrade when using iphone explorer i was able to access the root directory and now since the upgrade i am not able to access it. I am only able to access /var/mobile/Media.

I am however able to access the root when using iFile. OH, i am a windows guy not mac.

Anyone who can help with step by step instruction on how i can get to access the root directory again.

Mail me directly if you can cs"at"creighdon"dot"co"dot"za
