iPod finding music already paid for

Just wondering if anyone can advise how I can get hold of music I bought through itunes about 4 years ago and downloaded on to my old pc laptop. I presume that as I have bought them, they are somewhere in cyberspace and I should be able to get them again but I have no idea where to start.

I don't even know where my old laptop is but I do need a couple of pieces of music...........for a funeral!!

Can anyone help?

If you've got iTunes on your current computer (and it's a recent version) and are still using the same account, then you should be able to go to the Purchased tab and select "Download Previous Purchases" at the bottom of the window. You should then see a list of your iTunes-bought music. Click the "Not on this Computer" button to see the songs you want and select the cloud button to start downloading them.
