Hi All

I am using Photos for Mac running MacOS X 10.12 Sierra (latest version).

I am trying to using the search feature to find photos

I understand that Apple created a list of search terms to bring this product more in line with Google Photos

However, I only can find photos by searching photos that are geo-tagged

For example, I can find photos of the Pantheon in Rome ONLY if they were geo-tagged that way

I have one photo of the building that imported from a DSLR and photos doesn't recognize it - it is clearly the Pantheon full frame

Is there a way to re-index the photos library to solve this?

thank you

Mark

In my library, Apple labels the Alamo as "Bastion" and the Texas State Capital as "Dome", so who knows what they're calling the Pantheon. o_O The AI is categorizing photos, but not identifying them as a certain place or proper noun.

Keywords are only used in the Mac app, they don't sync to iOS.
