Hey guys, I currently use Aperture to import my photos from memory cards, but I've got a question; where are the actual files? I'm new to OSX (just got my MacBook Wednesday) and so far whenever I want to open the files in Photoshop, I need to find them in Aperture and export them, then open that file. In the Pictures folder, theres an icon called Aperture Library, but clicking that opens Aperture. Thank you in advance guys!

The pictures are in that "file" in your pictures folder. This is actually a folder of sorts which you can control-click and show package contents and explore. Very messy.

best option, open Aperture, Go to preferences, select photoshop to be your external image editor. Then select the image you want to edit and either press command-shift-o or control click and chose "open with external editor"
