Hello all, i have recently discovered that i am missing some HDD space and it is because i have songs in my iTunes Folder that are not in my itunes library.
If anyone knows how i can find these without looking at every single folder and determining it, could you please tell me

Please Help ASAP please, im running out of HDD space

Well, I normally find the best technique for this is to move your library via iTunes. Moving the library via the iTunes Preferences will copy across all the tracks iTunes knows about to the new library, meaning you can delete the old library with all the redundant files. Unfortunately, you need a bit of space to be able to do this (the equivalent space to your current iTunes library). Is it possible to get this amount of space, if only temporarily? :)

no i couldnt really get that much space

but i found one of dougs itunes scripts that does exactly what i needed it to and it has so far freed 3GB
so problem solved thanks for the help
